DAVID OFF TO THE OLYMPICS

 

Cambridge based David Morgan has competed in 3 Olympic Games and has the distinction of being the only athlete from any sport, and any of the 71 competing nations, to win 5 Commonwealth Games in history.

Now, his experience is being put to use behind the cameras, and he has again been chosen to commentate at the 2004 Olympics in Athens .

Most recently David commentated on the World Championships in Canada and Channel 4’s The Games in Sheffield .

David surprised many of his competitors and some of his colleagues by competing in the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002 and winning gold – at the age of 37. David is not competing this year as he is taking a year out to focus on a number of charity and business initiatives, however the intention is to break a number of records at next years Masters .
