Julia has a history of knee problems. Since 1979 she
has had several knee operations which have resulted in all
of
the cartilage in both knees being removed.
In the past Julia did long distance running, but has not
been able to do this since the operations.
Over the last 30 years Julia has had varying degrees of
pain and at times just walking very short distances has been
impossible, and at one point replacement knees were considered.
Dave spent a considerable amount of
time getting to know about the history of my levels of health
and fitness. He compiled a diet, a training programme and
a three month rolling programme, has put me in touch with
a number of specialists and consultants and regularly evaluates
my progress and the strength in my knees. I’m delighted.’

walk.
In just 13 weeks,
I have achieved a higher level of fitness and have shed 5
stone. An historic knee injury has had to be dealt with, obviously

Justin will be taking part in the Ocean Rowing Society’s
Atlantic Regatta 2004, a 3000 mile cross Atlantic row which
can take anything from 42 to 110 days to complete. Despite
being an accomplished duathlete, Justin has had to considerably
change his diet and training in order to reach the necessary
levels of fitness and stamina to complete the challenge.
